This is not at all a threat, they are just trying to acquire as many payment providers so they get market share. Verifone one of the bigger players in the payment industries has tied up partnership with Westpac Terminals.
National Australia Bank and Commonwealth Bank don’t supply there own terminals, they are provided by Ingenico the French based payments provider.
Tyro have more opportunities to expand there product line in the coming years and go globally.
