I don't blame the banks neither do I thank them. They knew/know that if the company went into administration they would wait a lot longer for their money. They no doubt exploited the situation by squeezing the highest possible interest rate out of OZ and used the crisis to justify the rate.They did no favours,took no risk and looked at their profit line all the time.
