Not sure about this one. This eat-on-the-run brekky is so popular in Japan that you can buy it ready-made in supermarkets and grocery stores. Yakisoba-pan is basically noodles in a bun. The noodles are mixed with veges and a sauce. The concoction is topped with pickled ginger, mayo and shredded seaweed, which I guess gives it some flavour those sad-looking hot-dog buns won't. Looks like an east-west fusion gone awry.
