Based on company's FY21 EBIT of mid-range $90, deduct approx. $5 interest and full 30% tax gives NPAT of $59.5. Given 852 million shares on issue gives eps Fy21 of 7cps. How can selling a stock on a forward PE of 10 and a possible FF yield of 7.7 % (5cps @ 70) be a good deal for shareholders ! Especially when the company is in the middle of what appears to be a very successful cost out strategy.
The only point in favour of acceptance is that the stock was trading at 41 cps prior to the bid.
I definitely will not accept at this price.
