I congratulated him on the appointment of Proff Peter Cook and we discussed him for a while, I asked Without being disrespectful @assailed some of the shareholders were interested in knowing what might his yearly salary be? He said he is being paid the appropriate salary to do the job. This guy has a school of class named after him at Flinders University, and has 10 yrs international experience in Europe and America, so let’s not ask about his income again.

I said, I do believe this appointment comes at a timely manner and seems like it was a pre-requisite for the Gov in order for PEP-11 to be signed off. He said you seem to have a good handle of things. I also said, I can’t see you spending all this money upfront, not knowing whether the ministers would approve first. He said your all over it! So I said, what is the hold up with approval, then? Everything is lined up perfectly now, the motion to stop Pep-11 has been thrown out of parliament, Peter Cook has been appointed, JB said over 3 weeks ago he had big news for NSW... he said I don’t like JB’s timetable on that. Hmmmmm. (Didn’t like that) So I said, does this mean we are looking like next year for an approval then? He said no, I didn’t say that, I’m saying it’s all very political with oppositions/ greenies making noise, JB still has to deal with the backlash of the approval.

I said so what better time than to sign off right before end of the year let the heat die down and deal with the aftermath and resume in the new year.
