The 'we have become aware of information...' phrase is what stands out for me. Every time I've written those words for Ministers or as a company director, it has been because: 1. there is something potentially serious someone internally or externally has disclosed (usually a more discrete event; not something that has unfolded over time) 2. it's something that requires further investigation but without blaming anyone or taking responsibility yourself 3. it's a risk management phrase, not a positive one, allowing you to fulfill duties but not over disclose until you know more about what is going on If I had to guess I would rule out tariffs/ bans. Maybe someone has been doing some creative accounting or similar?
