I hear you Aussie, they will need $ to progress the stage 1 development.

LCK know very well that no news = a declining share price. I think the company is confident they can achieve an offtake arrangement before they need to raise. Otherwise, I think they would have pulled the trigger after the PPL milestone. They would have been disappointed with the SP performance following the PPL, as I'm sure most investors were. I spoke with many Creekers, large and small to gauge their reactions and thoughts following the announcement.

There were a few reasons for the selling:

    • Profit taking (share price had rallied from 7 cents), at some stage, for some, the profit is simply too good to not lock in.
    • An upcoming ISG IPO (Chaucer Energy is due to list shortly and some profits were taken to spread risk etc).
    • Long suffering holders using the opportunity to get out of the stock
    • ''Buy the news, sell the rumour''! The Licence application was no secret, nor was the legislation amendment and government sinking money into the town. The PPL was already built into the share price.

All in all, ''Creekers'' were relieved that the Licence had been granted, and are now looking forward to the outcomes of commercial discussions which can now go to another level. There will be plenty of buying support if it continues to dip lower.

To continue the sporting analogies - the scores are tied and the big men have tucked the Steeden under the wing, rolling up the guts, and are now in opposition territory. It's getting close to the 5th tackle, and the halves (let's name them Phil and Justyn) need to know which option to take on the last. Do they spread it wide, chip and chase, look for the inside runner or go for the repeat set. The downrampers will be cheering for a knock on, but I trust that the halves will show composer and take the right play.

Sending all the positive energy down to the team in Adelaide, and wishing them, and all the Creekers a Merry Christmas..
