Just a personal experience to share. There are plenty of taiwanese having business in overseas. Also ppl from Hong Kong, China which migrate to Australia. They mostly came from wealthy background with substatial cash to buy houses out front.
Personally I have a friend, he haven't got a job but his family loan from Taiwan and pay almost 600k cash + approx. loan 150k from Taiwan to bought a house.
