Magellan Global fund is underperforming against its benchmark for the year. I understood Hamish's comment of exiting Apple due to overvaluation but the share market is always irrational. The cash from selling Apple was tgen investrd in Alibaba which suffers greatly in recent months. Did Hamish get it right this time?
Remind me of Platinum which lost a significant amount of FUM due to sustained underpunderperformance for a number of years because investors lost their confidence.
