I assure you the only people having the problem are those that did not realise any shares bought on Wednesday did not come with entitlements to rights.
Not surprising really given the level of confusion on hotcopper threads that day.
Those that bothered to read announcements would have seen that trading resumed on Wednesday on an ex entitlement basis.
Perhaps though you were one of those that bought and figured if they showed on your portfolio you had found a workaround and couldn't believe your luck that some 'idiots' were selling and you would get their rights.
Shares are not recorded as yours on the registry until they have settled despite what your portfolio may be showing you.
These are the very basics of buying and selling shares on the asx.
