Over 4 decades ago read a story by Isaac Asimov, called "Silly Asses" a 10 minute read that left a lasting impression.

Isaac was also the one who wrote "I robot" which is very much coming into play. Especially with self drive vehicles, but more worrisome a robot army.

Both "Silly assess" and "I robot" are a good read in the context with what the world is now faced with.

I remember seeing early Star trek episodes when they lifted a phone and called their star ship in orbit or across a world and it seemed fantasy at the time.

I now Skype my son and daughter in law on a regular basis in Seattle from Canberra, not just words, but live action pictures as well.

I still suspect that Isaac was right with "Silly asses" as well as many other things.
