gold and al q threat

AL Q say they were planning something in the states that would be bigger than 9/11.this threat was over 1month ago they said this would happen with in two months.
There i big move on gold when 9/11 happen are we witnessing the same.The US dollar was up last night i thought in anything we would see weakness in pog today with the fed meeting next week and a rise in rates on the cards this should boost the US dollar why is gold moving up someone is buying.
