good point, the Al and Si levels are extremely high by comparison to the material mined by Rio & BHP.
In my 10 years @ RTIO, I recall nothing being mined at these levels of impurity. Yes we did blend the low Fe/P/Al/Si (low grade) with some of the sweet stuff, most material which looked like this was sent to the waste dump.
Having said that, there are no more Tom Prices & Whalebacks, so perhaps this may prove up to be something different.
Would be interested to hear from any what any experienced geos (ex HI or BHP think) - I am just a poor simple gingerbeer. . .
