In regards to the CLBP trial I was hoping someone in the medical field would be able to enlighten me, looking through the endpoints on the clinical gov website it seems there are subjective scores (VAS and ODI).
Would it not have made sense to have an objective end point such as MRI representing disc reg. eneration between the groups in the study? My understanding of pain is that pain does not equal tissue damage and is our own experiences and personal input which determines our pain. So even if the stem cells work and regenerate the disc, the individuals still may experience pain which would not show improvement in the treatment group (due to subjective measures).
