I am curious as to why you look at qbe when thinking about AMP. One is a general insurance company. The other has no insurance interest these days - or just a minority investment in a life business.
qbe was thumped by bushfires and direct cost of covid and other events.
I also wonder why others think that the performance of banks is that relevant to AMP. AMP bank represents about 25% of AMP.
