Richo,HMP, cannot recall if they did a T/O of HELVORY MINING (pretty sure it was a T/O) or just a name change to HMP a couple of years back.
Helvory had some good experienced mining people in key hands on site roles (probably still do if they still have jobs)in Bowen Basin coal & the Hunter.
Curragh & BMA were good suporters.
500 staff, believe 400 jobs is the number being given that are gone? at Riverside, Norwich & Curragh.
If it is just HMP that has fallen over (and not site cut backs) I suspect most staff will still be needed by the sites or another contractor.
With the HMP self appointed administrators sounds like it is their problems, also interesting HMP debt said to be 150 million, same amount they borrowed from GE about a year ago to finance new fleet & stockpile about 10 million dollars of tyres.
