Holding 1220 shares is a tiny position for this CEO to have.
If he increased his holding by a multiple of that, it would be a vote of confidence in GNC. Of cousre, we're not privy to his financial and other circumstances but generally speaking it's good for management and Directors to have 'skin in the game' acquired on-market, not just through the vesting of short or long term incentive-related holdings.
