Greenspan's "irrational exuberance" warning came after the tipping point. We are not there yet.

If this is NASA, I think it will be a contract to purchase ADE without going to tender.

This will allow NASA to evaluate Akida. It does not guarantee ongoing purchases.

In my opinion, it will carry a ton of prestige, but precious few dollars. But the dollars are not the point. The fact that NASA has seen it as appropriate to choose to study Akida indicates they have more than a passing interest in out technology.

This is somewhat differnt from the Tensor and Valeo proposals, which were initiated by the proponents, whereas, the sole supplie Akida contract has been initiated by NASA.

As we have seen, it could also be the Tensor Cubesats, or one or more of the three Valeo radiation hardening contracts. Again, heaps of prestige, but not much of the folding stuff.

Or it could be any of the other 20 odd early adopters.
