Just for the record, when I worked at Continental Automotive (in Australia before car industry shut down), every electronics component that we made for our car manufacturers contained Renesas chips in them (Our core production was instrument clusters for Ford, Holden, and export to BMW in Germany).
I also know that Renesas were/are one of the preferred suppliers to all Continental Plants around the world, due to their global sourcing policies!
This is gonna be massive!
