The point is at that particular moment you could buy UMC cheaper by buying THX than you could by buying UMC directly.The rest you got for free.
At the moment you would have to pay 10.5 for THX so it has changed but still values the UMC shares that THX owns at the same price as its entire market cap.
Either way UMC has done me well since buying in and Im sure THX will now I ve decided to get a UMC via them and who knows there could be some bonus Uranium in a few months time with a slice of luck
