Merry Christmas guys, this stuff is tough at times when those with all the guns at their disposal move the markets and we are just the pawns. Got to diversify and run risk and reward scenarios and take some profits to protect capital or a core holding if you have a longer view in spec stocks. This is all cyclical stuff and poor personnel don't last forever. I have kept a list of many stocks and the ground they hold for many years for background purposes, so even if ground changes hands over time you get a fair idea if you follow the sector as to what's there in terms of FA.

It takes sound management to exploit it. The value in the ground was my attraction here which was followed by a change in management for a setup. TA is useful in deciding entry and exit on trend. Think anticipated rises in copper and gold prices in the sectors will pull poor performers along and the ratio of price change will be greater for them. So its a bit of a punt too, but its ground floor and I hold a few now at these prices to see through the shenanigan's of some. If they get taken over its a win and if the new bloke in charge gets the job done its a win too. Think on balance, there is a paradigm shift in skill and direction now.

I know how you feel La Tache. A few years ago I wanted to sell a few shares to move into another stock and had the same rejection you got. So I got on the blower to complain, but while on the blower I was watching the screen and someone else, and I guess the organization I was talking to, sold to clear the buyer from the market which I was denied selling to. My threat to report the action changed the outcome. So I guess they were operating on both sides of the market. Don't think we can change this culture, just include it in the opportunity cost from a SWOT analysis
