Ten had to call off an attempted raising at 75c a share in February, unable to get support from investors amid concerns that its controlling shareholder, CanWest, will be forced by its bankers to sell its 57 per cent.
Mr McLeish said investors would probably support a raising - coupled with a sell-down of CanWest's stake - if the offer price was below 50c.
