Always going to be a hard call due to the CR taking place in the weeks prior.
However I would say we had a "Weenie" one.
Below are 5,10,15 days prior and post Christmas Eve and the % that the 24th performed to the prior 15 days and then the change for the following 15 days.
Last year Santa definitely didn't come before Xmas, but he certainly came after Christmas. The numbers for PLS are pretty similar too, a sector wide story.
GXY was up 42% in the 15 trading days after Christmas.
We wont see that kind of growth without big news, but with the trading desks quieter while folks are on holiday, high liquidity companies that are play things can sometimes run a little if allowed. Just seen
@Stewart18 post with shorts sitting under 3% so could be on for a few good weeks. We can live in hope.
