Yes, very true, especially in the long term once a significant portion of the customer base is using the scan. I was thinking more from an insurance company maintaining their margins viewpoint in the short to medium term. I'm not skilled up on the medical insurance industry in the US, but in Australia the margins are so tight. Companies (I.e. Medibank) often invest their banked premiums to supplement their margins. I'm not sure a significant portion would be passed onto the consumer and rather would translate into increased revenue, thus my comment "a reduction in one healthy persons premium is an increase in another's"
