Australian Super allows you to trade ASX300 stock. BRN not there yet but maybe in the next couple of rebalances which are due in March and then September.

The share price would need to be upwards of 55c and needs to meet the liquidity rules.

I am hanging out for this event. Why?

I am looking to sell some of my BRN personal holdings (on which I will have to pay CGT) and buy at the same time within my superfund which is in pension mode and as I am over 60 yrs, therefore attracts no CGT on future price rises.

I will only sell that portion of my BRN personal holdings that I can counter balance against other personal investment losses. Therefore paying no CGT at all.

I have put seed capital into a number of small ASX companies which I thought showed promise. BRN was one of these seed companies that flourished and I topped up my holding along the way. I will be able to rationalise some of the seed companies that have not delivered and are carrying losses that I don't want to hold anymore. I have a few in mind.
