Not sure if this has been posted - but it was news to me that Sasol is planning to do UCG for their Secunda CTL plant. Secunda is the biggest synthetic fuel facility in the world. Getting Sasol on the UCG bandwagon, especially at their flagship site, is huge! Institutional investors can now feel a bit more comfortable with this 'new' technology. Really looks like UCG is going mainstream. The UCG boom could be at the ignition stage.
