but maybe you weren't addressing me. even so the comment applies to many of the writers whether trump supporters or not. scaramucci, as an example,wasn't exactly dumb or incompetent but he fell into the vortex before he clambered his way out. I tried to locate some commentary by a friend of mine that she posted in 2016 when Trump was on the campaign trail. She is hardly ill informed or stupid and she is regarded as an expert in her field (if appearances and pay rates for speeches is anything to go by). I thought I might demonstrate that if you focus on the wrong things you can assume stuff you maybe ought not. i disagreed with her early assessments of trump and with her analysis and curiously when i did the search those early opinions are all hidden. i suspect she saw the light at some point though for a long time she still thought that he had a lot of it taped.

I've watched enough trump for a lifetime thanks. i watched a few shows of the apprentice where he seemed to settle into his obnoxious lord role. i don't need to watch any more. he got worse as time went on - another characteristic of such people - apparently money and fame - even if it is someone else's - goes to their head. he was on a roll and the inevitable happened - he rolled right off the cliff.
