The only thing I really care about (I learned) from that story was that gold mine which ended up with several M oz at good grade in Indonesia developed by Australian interests was refused/ delayed a permit by the Indonesian what suddenly appeared when taken over by a well Indonesian investors. An all to familiar story and the reason why I will never invest in a mine in Indonesia again. A lesson others in Australia have mentioned to me. I've even been at AGM's like a Herald Resources when investors have hinted the manager bribe, someone, to get the stalled permit.
