The Angolan leases are mostly of three years duration, and the Government can choose to NOT renew them if no work has been done, nor no money spent to further them.
Once a company has the lease, they can't just sit on it and do nothing for too long, which is perhaps why so many of them have played musical chairs around Smyth /and mates' associated companies.
That is why we questioned the status of the leases at the EGM.
Slowly, but surely, they are working through the list.
When they get to 'get rid of Smyth' on the list, we'll see a price spike imo!!
