CC Faults have been the subject of much previous conjecture. My contribution to this was a guesstimate of "compression contours". Alas, no cigar.
One of our better informed/researched posters quoted Zeff from one of his presentations, "CC faults" are cross-cutting faults. This makes infinite sense in that El Zorro is shaping up to be an IRGS gold deposit.
During the 1990s, following a succession of discoveries of granite hosted and granite proximal gold deposits in Canada and Alaska, across an area now known as the Tintina Gold Province (TGP), a new class of gold dominant intrusion related deposit was identified, and classified, IRGS.IRGS systems are generated by the collision of major tectonic plates and, as such, focused mainly on the Ring of Fire region around the Pacific Rim. Prominent gold regions include the Maricunga Belt, Magadan Province, Tintina-Cordileran Province and North China Craton.
Other characteristics of IRGS are the host tectonic environment, depth of emplacement and vein morphologies and textures. Of particular importance are parallel-sheeted veins and stock worked vein formations.
So El Zorro's geomorphology is a result of the crustal deformation caused by the collision of the Pacific tectonic plate with that of the South American plate. These "cross-cutting" faults result from this tectonic collision.
No wonder Zeff is excited, El Zorro is shaping up to be a major regional gold deposit. That is why we are finding gold in every hole we drill and the prospect is open in all directions. No wonder has TSO purchase more tenements. El Zorro could turn out to be the mother of all gold deposits. If El Zorro is confirmed as an IRGS, I stand by my earlier post that TSO's sp of $5 at this time next year will be cheap.
So the only question remains is, how many tens of millions of gold ounces does El Zorro contain? The MRE for Ternera is due in June 2021. Further, a maiden drilling project begins in January at the emerging Toro Gordo target to the south of Ternera. This is the first of the six (6) other targets outside Ternera.
2021 is going be TSO's year. 2021 The Year Of The Donkey. Whatya reckon Hatey?
