Importantly, it closed the gap from the 18th December today.
There's also no way IMO that the SPP will retrace to SPP price for two reasons:
1. It already did that after the initial announcement of the proposed SPP
2. It will be propped at the very least to get the SPP over the line - not that it needs it.
My guess we'll see a rise on Monday prior to the SPP opening date on the 5th January.
