i think outfits like Northvolt need it but can’t convert spodumene so an intermediary is a compromise.

also this intermediate is more stable easier to ship. And it seems easier to do every wise and also Chemicals in the Katanga hub may facilitate. Kabondo Dianda has planned for it a storage facility for chemicals.

FFX also once proposed lithium oxide. AVZ has not mention it but it appears to be an option as well. These explorers cum developers respond to market demand they don’t invent is my view.

in any case Lithium Hydroxide plant, who is Klein to say no hydroxide in the Congo, when Andrew Forrest was the more reportedly discussing refining lithium?

in any case AVZ has at least two ports for a hydroxide facility for quick shipping
