Good for shareholders, but as an occasional Bunnings shopper I note that its prices are not guaranteed to be lower than competitors like Mitre 10, a unit of listed MTS.
I need some chain oil. The brand sold at Bunnings is $13.98 per litre, but at Mitre 10 (different brand, but manufactured in Australia): $10.90.
I have also found this with quite a few other products. Many consumers won't be awake to this as they continue to pay a premium in some instances at Bunnings, but it can be wise to shop around.
