All I can say is that I'm really glad all the fibre to home haters aren't in government (at least I hope they are not). They sound like the bureaucrat in "Yes Minister", (thinking of all they reasons for not going ahead with a good idea instead of working out how to get it done).
It's good to have really positive action on this, and now is an excellent time to do it - to boost employment as well as adding significantly to our national infrastructure assets.
