volume on us exchange

Afternoon fellow LCT'ers...

In case you hadnt been monitoring the goings on for LCT on the US based OTCQX exchange, there's been quite a bit of activity there lately with regards to price and volume.

LCT have been listed there since about September 2007. The total volume of shares traded there up until 03/04/09 is 547573 (they have a 10 to 1 ratio there so every 1 share traded there is equivalent to 10 here).

It's interesting to note that from Sept 2007 to Feb 2009 (approx 17 months) there were about 262760 shares traded, however in March 2009 to 3rd April 2009 there have been 284813 shares traded...so more than 1/2 the shares since LCT have been listed have occured in the last month or so. The price has also increased on that volume from $0.50 to just under $1 now...

Highly unlikely that this is retail investors all of a sudden buying up big, more likely some larger pharma company accumulating a stake in LCT...

This coupled with the good announcement yesterday where a patient achieved insulin independence bodes well for LCT in my opinion.
