You might be right Saint but that is the stock market to a tee. Invest in a mutual fund if you want secutiry. I sold down RDR on the way down so it owes me nothing. I still think that as a self funded small miner it has potential. The iron ore farm in with Portmans might take off when Chindia begin to expand again and while I think the Vanadium mine is a bit of a long shot, should developments in battery technology go down that road then Vanadium will be in huge demand above the normal requirement for hardening steel. All the time the income from the gold pays for the back office. There is another prospect at the back of all these that might prove to be the big one but mentioning that would be ramping. It's a bet but the alternative is a secure 10% from one of the banks over each decade. Aussies love lotto bets so take your pick.
