    Money is;
    1) A store of value
    2) A unit of accounting
    3) A medium of exchange

    Gold only qualifies under #1. No one does their accounts in gold. And on one uses gold to buy and sell stuff.
    Gold has plenty of positive attributes. So theres no need to lie about it, it just makes gold bugs look even more irrational and unreasonable.
