Yes Ryzie - what you say is true for many other stocks.
However, i believe IOU is under-going a re-rating phase and it is in a position of growth via many upcoming deals & partnerships.
So we can't say it is going up without fundamentals.
IOU is not the typical mining, biotech or retail stock where fundamentals often takes a very long time to prove up - hence as you have described they rise on some good news and fall back as the next fundamental boosting news is many months away. I don't see IOU in the same situation due to its unique position.
IOU as you know already has a strong base of revenue and clients networks with a robust tech platform and IP.
To say IOU is going up without fundamentals is ignoring all that plus its upcoming growth & potentials.
As you say, you are wary others might be paying top price and suffer losses as a result, but the "top" is relative to everyone, in terms of investment time-frame outlook, investment amount and each own's risk profile and their valuation of what they believe IOU should be and could be.
Not disagreeing with your ideas - I just think IOU has abit more to it than meets the eyes.
