I realise the current market view on toll roads, including Citylink, is that traffic growth is a sure thing over the long term.
But I've been thinking, well, Citylink gets something in the order 700,000 trips per day. As baby boomers retire and the ratio of retirees to workers in the population increases, isn't it logical that 10 or 20 years from now there'll be less than 700,000 trips a day?
Anyone else sees issues with assuming long term traffic growth?
