It has been disgusting the pursuit and treatment of Assange over the years, and Australia has been complicit from the start,

Gillard's kowtowing to the US making googly eyes at Obama while claiming Assange was a criminal was really disgusting.

I think Assange is a dick, but Australia has a duty to all Australian citizens throughout the world, and has failed miserably in this case.

Of all the pardons Trump has given, he should give one to Assange, and Australia should apologize for not sticking up for our citizens overseas.
