    I seem to have this arguement with everyone. Why don't you want FPs to be judged on performance?

    Can anybody answer this? What is wrong with judging FPs on the performance of their plan?

    Any time I suggest FPs should be judged on performance, it only draws sour reactions. Why is this?

    You wouldn't keeping paying a tax agent or a builder or a butcher for a bad job. Why is everyone so keen to keep paying financial planners who stuff it up? They shouldn't be a protected species.
