Also this is one of the few ways visa can get ahead of mastercard.... Up until now they have had to partner with a bank and are limited by the number of customers the bank has... Partnering with zip allows them to basically put up a sign saying visa accepted again like the old days and by partnering it helps zip not take too much from them directly
they want to work together to take some of mastercards share whilst potentially giving zip some of their own but both mutually benefitting
