Why the hell anybody would or be allowed to travel overseas during the pandemic is a mystery to most, why the rest of us are been put at risk for this reason even more so.

We cant have fire crackers anymore due to a few bad eggs but we dont close the country after each new outbreak caused by an international visitor or someone returning from overseas.

The risk that we face as a country is real and far out weights any financial gains made by airlines and tourism.

People have risked there lives this week trying to get home before border closures and this is just the latest problem caused by our so called leaders deferring to health departments and other agencies instead of taking charge at a federal level.

We can still turn Australia into covid free country and keep it that way but unfortunately its seems we are heading the other way and our non common sense leaders will have to miss out on there beloved sporting grand events and the precious players.

A pencil pusher with no clue holds our lives in their hands, and so far thats not working out well for other countries

Many Australian stranded overseas are unaccompanied minors in China and India and the two bob each way dual nationals.
