Yes I agree that long Covid would be a factor in favour of more costly treatments being reasonable. But I don’t think it would change things in terms of making it rational and economic. Long Covid is relatively not common. It still requires treatment early and widely. No one knows who will get long Covid. Also, although distressing, most long Covid symptoms reduce over time.
