AX1 have a history of doing this. Personally I like it and wish more companies would do it. It means investors can assess results and form opinions in plenty of time before the market opens and a avoids the whip lash movements seen in other companies.
With recent rises, the market was expecting a good result. I think this just cements a new base with price likely to firm as analysts update their target prices.
