This article just summarises what has already been known on Friday during trading hours. However it's good see that even Journos have realised that this is a bargain too good to be missed.

Easy to explain why. Dropping prices forced many developments to be stopped and productions cut or driven down. Now we've got what was predicted, the sudden shortage of copper and other metals. The same will happen to oil when demand re-increases.

Typical cycle : fast and big rise ( sell ), then fast and extreme fall ( buy ) and then rise back to an appropriate level ( too late to make quick money ). I think the copper price has still a little bit more left to go up, but ABY can still go to the 50 - 70 c level as it's price hasn't been adjusted to the copper price IMO.

I am not a copper expert, but at under a tenth of it's max price and copper at 2/3 of it's peak ABY has still potential.

China and India still have heaps to do to build up their power networks and Africa hasn't even started yet. And even in case that new materials could replace copper in power lines, it can't be replaced in generators. Electrons can't go faster and can't be moved easier than in copper under normal temperatures ( -50 to + 50 degree Celsius ) and in our natural environment.

Sad for those who did buy at the top level and did not sell, good for those like me who can grab it as long as it's still cheap.
