There you go again, with zero proof. Have you considered that maybe part of the formula might have something to do with value to society. Goodness any Grandparent has to be worth more than that in baby sitting services alone, then you have something like transmitting life experiences, creative expertise, and their work contribution if they are working. Or parenting services for their kids, still. Then you have just being alive, being part of the economy.
And that is assuming only stopping people from dying. What about the triage issues as for instance as the more highly contagious strain absolutely takes off before vaccines are really widely available. When ambulance staff are told to decide who to pick up or leave behind which is happening in Los Angeles area now. Then there are all the other longer term health issues emerging, mainly but not restricted to cardio vascular especially in younger patients with decades or more to live.
At $20k, well that would be a bargain if targeting is accurate, but we have to wait for the data.
