If anyone is interested Serra Verde is an ionic clay currently in construction. Proves that these are viable. Also the Former Lynas Director was appoint CEO over at serra verde a few years back.

    Serra Verde (unlisted)
This unlisted REE developer is operating in Brazil, the country that long-dominated the REE space before
Mountain Pass appeared on the scene. One just needs to look at the curriculum of the CEO to see how
well-positioned this company is in the Establishment of non-Chinese Rare Earths, and how far it is from
the Vancouver crowd. The CEO is Eric Noyrez, the former CEO and Executive Director of Lynas
Corporation, a member of the Executive Committee and President of Rhodia Silcea (currently Solvay -
including Rare Earths activities) and an independent director of Neo Performance Material.
In the company’s words, the type of deposit found in the Pela Ema is that of Rare Earths adsorbed ion
clays, very similar to what is found in lateritic granite coasts of southeastern China. The enrichment of
Rare Earths occurs during the laterization process of these granites, which results in the generation of
exchangeable ions of REE, besides a residual source of REE minerals contained in the colluvium and
saprolite. This type of deposit is known as "Rare Earths Deposit in Elution Crusts" or ion-adsorption
clays. These are the Holy Grail of REE deposits, with only the Tantalus property in Madagascar and a
p[roject in Chile (see below) as competition outside China.

Maybe he doesn't know what he's talking about, and wants to be associated with bad project. However i don't think so.

above is how IXR stacks up in relation to Serra and chinese deposit. Noting the exploration upgrade puts it potentially ahead of the others.

Below is the timeline for serra verde, believe construction to be complete this year. https://www.svpm.com.br/home

Of course a lot of water to go under the bridge, but evident that through progress development and subsequent formalised studies and approvals ionic clays are both profitable and economically viable.

Think people forget that IXR is still in the process of putting together it's first SS and ESIA. The need to walk before they can run. I expect that concerns highlighted by non-holders relating to environmental impacts will be delineated in the aforementioned studies.

also, for those not aware Tim harrison (the MD) came from CLQ. What most don't realise is CLQ aren't just a miner. They're actually involved in industrial water treatment. I'd dare say that through Tim and his contacts at CLQ if there's anyone than can ensure environmentally safe and world class practices in terms of water/waste treatment it's Tim.

Will pick his brain specifically on this next chat, but think the info in in the announcements with the closed loop process circuitry.
