Abstract
A radar data processing device and method is provided. The methodgenerates a radar image map, predicts a region of interest (ROI)based on the generated radar image map, senses radar datawith a radar sensor, identifies the sensed radar data basedon steering information, adjusts the steering information based on thepredicted ROI, and determines direction-of-arrival (DoA) informationcorresponding to the sensed radar data based on the adjusted steeringinformation. The radar data processing device may locally adjust atleast one of a range resolving power, an angular resolving power, or a Dopplervelocity resolving power based on the ROI predicted based ona radar image map, and generate an accurate radar dataprocessing result of a major region.

METHOD OF IMPROVING DISTANCE MEASUREMENT ACCURACY USING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SIGNALS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SAME

Abstract

A method for improving the accuracy of measuring adistance to an object using a wireless communication signal and an electronicdevice therefor the same are provided. The method includes transmitting awireless communication signal to an external object by controlling a wirelesscommunication module, receiving a signal returned based on the transmittedwireless communication signal being reflected from the external object bycontrolling the wireless communication module, acquiring a first distance tothe external object based on a transmission time point of the transmittedsignal and a reception time point of the received signal, acquiring a seconddistance to the external object based on phases of the transmitted signal andthe received signal by controlling the phase matching module, and estimating adistance to the external object based on the first distance and the seconddistance.
