    @Justin7286, AIZ is listed on the ASX so yes you can buy it and as a shareholder yes you get dividends if and when they are payable. The dividends will be unfranked meaning they have not paid Australian tax so you don't get a tax credit. The 2019 dividends were 20.9c and whilst AIZ won't be paying this IMO immediately, if they were to in the future it would be a very healthy yield at current prices.

    AIZ has a line of credit approved with the NZ government which they are yet to draw down on despite COVID so hopefully a capital raise can be avoided albeit there has been some talk of one over a few months. Anyway, best of luck in your investing.
